I Think I Was Double Charged?Updated a day ago
Seeing Two Charges on Your Account?
We completely understand how concerning that can look, and we want to put your mind at ease right away!
Rest assured, you have not been charged twice! What you're seeing is a completely normal temporary authorization hold that is a standard part of the payment process. Here's what's happening:
When your order is placed, your bank or financial institution places a pending authorization on your account to confirm that sufficient funds are available. Once your payment is successfully captured and processed — which only happens once — that extra authorization will automatically drop off, typically within a few business days depending on your bank.
Authorization holds are actually a good thing — they help protect both you and us from fraudulent or failed transactions by verifying your payment details before your order is finalized.
If you'd like extra peace of mind, feel free to contact your bank or credit card provider directly to confirm that the second charge is simply a pending authorization and not an actual debit.
And of course, if the pending charge doesn't drop off within a few business days or both charges end up settling, please don't hesitate to reach back out to us — we'll be happy to take another look for you!
